Farm Tricycle Clutch Troubleshooting
clutch slipping
1. Fault phenomenon: The power of the tricycle is obviously insufficient, it is difficult to start in low gear, and it cannot start with heavy load, but the engine still runs stably.
2. Causes and troubleshooting
(1) There is oil on the surface of the friction plate, causing slippage. The clutch should be disassembled, and the friction plates and driven disc should be cleaned with gasoline.
(2) The elastic force of the excitation spring becomes smaller or broken, resulting in a decrease in positive pressure and insufficient friction. The spring should be replaced.
(3) The friction plate wears too much or the rivets are exposed, which reduces the friction force. The friction plate should be replaced or riveted again.
(4) The driven disc and friction plate are burned or deformed. Should be corrected or replaced with new ones.
(5) The clutch adjustment gap is too small or inconsistent, resulting in no free travel of the pedal. The gap should be adjusted to the specified range, and the three separation levers should be in the same plane
Inside.
Second, the clutch separation is not complete
1. Symptoms of the failure: when the clutch pedal is pressed to the bottom, the power between the active clutch and the driven plate cannot be completely cut off, resulting in difficulty in gearing, gearing or failure to stop.
The car and clutch are hot.
2. Causes and troubleshooting
(1) The gap between the three release melons of the clutch and the release bearing is too large. It should be adjusted to within the range of 0.3-0.5 mm.
(2) The free stroke of the clutch pedal is too large. Should be adjusted to within the range of 20-40mm.
(3) The clutch driven disc is seriously warped or corroded. Correct or replace new parts or remove rust.
(4) The flower chain of the clutch shaft is severely worn, resulting in the immobilization of the driven disc. Should be repaired or replaced with new ones.
(5) The three separation levers are not easy to be on the same plane of revolution, causing the spring force to be removed differently. Should be readjusted as required.
(6) The friction plate is broken. It should be replaced with a new one. The clutch bearing is damaged, causing the clutch to move axially when the clutch is disengaged. New bearings should be replaced.
3. Clutch chatter
1. Fault phenomenon: The whole vehicle vibrates when starting, especially when idling, shifting to a low gear and gradually releasing the clutch pedal to start, the vehicle will experience continuous shock.
2. Causes and troubleshooting
(1) The end faces of the heads of the three separation levers are not in the same plane. The clutch should be properly adjusted.
(2) The elastic force of each spring of the pressure plate is different or some springs are broken. Springs should be checked and replaced if necessary.
(3) The friction plate is arched and deformed. Should be corrected, repaired or replaced.
4. Abnormal clutch noise
1. Fault phenomenon: When the clutch pedal is stepped on a little, the inner end surface of the release bearing is just in contact with the release lever, and the clutch will make a continuous sound of "crack, crack, crack"
Sound; there is a sound and shaking when it is engaged at a start or disengaged during driving.
2. Causes and troubleshooting
(1) The release bearing is missing or damaged. Lubricating oil should be added to the release bearing, and if it is invalid, replace it.
(2) The driven plate or pressure plate is broken. The clutch should be disassembled and damaged parts replaced.
