Why should the clutch friction plate be installed on the driven disc
First of all, the kinetic energy is transmitted between the clutch driven disc and the driving disc through friction. The clutch friction plate is installed on the driven disc, and the clutch pressure plate is installed on the driving part. The pressure plate generates friction with the friction plate when it is working. The force thus drives the work of the clutch disc.
Secondly, if the friction plate is installed on the driving disc, the power output of the automobile engine cannot be disconnected. Therefore, the power output on the flywheel of the driving part can only be cut off by installing the clutch friction disc on the driven disc.
Third, if the clutch friction plate is installed on the driving part, the pressure plate and spring must be installed on the clutch driven plate, which will cause the driven plate to increase inertia due to the increase in mass.
Finally, if the friction plate is installed on the clutch driver, it will cause a lot of unnecessary trouble in subsequent maintenance.
